You can check in the newspapers as foreclosure sales are advertised before they're sold. They are often sold as sheriff's sales or a special section for foreclosures. You can also check in large databases for foreclosure sales. These are available online. The register of deeds or county recorder in your county may also have a list of any forecloses, so finding them should be simple now that you know where to look.
